Fire Truck hits car

Police are still trying to figure out why a woman in her car was hit by a fire truck. It was due to the stop lights not working right. Usually they turn green for the oncoming fire truck, but this time the lights didn't switch on time and a 42 year old woman was hit and killed. Police are still trying to figure out who's fault it was, but they can't figure out until they know what colour the light was. Once they know that they have to judge if there was enough time for either person to stop on time.

I think this is just at fault of both the drivers relying too much on the stop light and not relying on what they can see and their own driving skills. I think that timing the stop lights can really help in case of an emergency, but it can't make all the decisions for you. The drivers of the fire trucks still need to look out for different cars, and the drivers of the other cars need to know when a fire truck is coming. I think that this is nobody's fault it is just a case of two people relying on something that isn't 100% effective. The stop lights aren't the answer to people's driving they need to look out for themselves.
